ICM exhibited at Speciss College Careers Expo, which was held in Harare, Zimbabwe, on the 17th and 18th of June.
Lovemore Lovejoy Ganyata, ICM’s Country Coordinator, represented ICM at a careers expo last month, which was hosted by Speciss College in the Nelson Mandela Hall at the Harare Show Grounds, Zimbabwe.
Children from schools located in and around Harare attended the exhibition, which was held in a bid to help local students take the first steps in choosing their career.
Exhibitors included local entrepreneurs, employers, examining bodies and industry experts.
Speciss College also provided students with a career aptitude test to help children match their natural ability and passions to prospective careers.
“The Speciss College Careers Expo held in Harare, Zimbabwe was a resounding success,” said Lovemore Lovejoy Ganyata.
“Statistically, 19 high schools attended the Expo, with over 1,200 students visiting the ICM stall,” he added.
“This was the first time ICM had been introduced to many of the student and teacher visitors, and the stall was an instant hit with its 200 plus subjects tailor-made to suit every person. Our wide variety of subjects, the four examination series per year, progression routes and employment opportunities proved to be a major attraction, which should, in the end, lead to big catches for both ICM and Speciss College.
“With ICM, opportunities are unlimited!”
